Tool AI uses the following Google and third-party services:
Google Firebase Authentication (Email/Password, Google Sign-In)
Google OAuth (Scopes: email, profile,
openid)
GitHub OAuth (authentication only)
Google Firestore Database
Google Analytics (standard, anonymous usage analytics)
Local storage for improving app continuity (e.g., chats)
2. Data We Access From Google
When users sign in with Google, Tool AI may access the following Google
user data:
Full name
Email address
Google user ID
Profile picture (if provided)
This access is limited to authentication and account creation. No
additional Google data is read, stored, or requested.
3. Data We Access From GitHub
When signing in with GitHub, Tool AI may access:
GitHub user ID
GitHub username
Email address (if provided by GitHub)
No GitHub repositories, files, or permissions are accessed under any
circumstances.
4. Data We Collect
Tool AI collects only the information necessary to provide account
functionality and saved projects:
Name and email (from Firebase Authentication or OAuth)
Generated internal user ID
User projects
Project inputs and saved settings
First-party usage analytics including pages visited, visit counts,
session counts, referrer domain, device category, browser, operating
system, and country code supplied by the hosting provider
Local storage for in-session data (e.g., chats for smoother
interactions)
5. Data We Do Not Collect
No sensitive personal data
No financial or payment information
No contacts, calendars, files, or external data from Google or GitHub
No IP addresses stored by Tool AI (Google Analytics anonymizes IPs)
No device fingerprinting or cross-site tracking
No raw IP addresses in Tool AI's first-party analytics records
6. How We Use Your Data
User data is used only for:
Creating and managing Tool AI accounts
Saving and restoring user projects
Providing authentication and account security
Enhancing site performance through anonymous analytics
Understanding aggregate traffic and product usage
We do not sell, share, or use user data for advertising or marketing.
7. How Your Data Is Stored
Account, project, and operational usage-limit data is stored securely
within Google Firebase and Google Firestore. First-party traffic
analytics is stored as access-controlled JSON data in Vercel Blob.
Access is restricted and encrypted. Tool AI retains registered user data
until the user deletes their account or if the account is
suspended. Raw visitor analytics is automatically removed after 32 days, and
anonymous Firebase accounts are automatically removed after five days.
8. Data Sharing
Tool AI does not share user data with third parties
except:
Google Firebase and Firestore (for secure storage and authentication)
GitHub (authentication only if user chooses GitHub login)
No other entities receive or process user data.
9. Google Analytics
Tool AI uses standard Google Analytics to measure site usage such as
visit counts and general regions. IPs are anonymized. No personalized
advertising or user-level tracking is enabled.
10. User Rights & Controls
Edit your data: Users may update their name, email,
and account details through the settings page.
Delete your account: Users may delete their account
at any time in the settings page, which permanently removes all stored
data.
Manage local data: Users may clear their browser
storage at any time.
11. Age Requirements
Tool AI is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do
not knowingly collect data from individuals under 13.
